Welcome

For almost fifty years, the United Community Church has been ministering the truth of the Word of God in Glendale, CA Also, through our Missionary Program touching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Located just one block from the new $400 million Americana Shopping Center, as well as the Galleria Shopping Center, the church is located at 333 East Colorado Street, between Brand Boulevard and Glendale Boulevard. Easy access from the 5 Freeway, (Colorado St. Exit,) from the 134 Freeway, (Brand Boulevard Exit,) and the 2 Freeway, (Colorado Street Exit.) United Community Church is an independent, interdenominational, New Testament Church and is not affiliated with any denomination or association. We are committed to glorifying God through Praise and Worship, preaching the truth of the Word of God and serving one another and our community.

UCC History

In 1961 Dr. William Steuart MacBirnie founded the church with a handful of members in the beautiful Rose Chapel on Kenwood Ave. in Glendale, CA. That beautiful chapel was purchased from a fellowship pastored by Dr. Jack MacArthur, (father of Dr. John MacArthur.) Through the years as the church grew, additional properties were purchased and buildings built. Today the church is housed in a beautiful 1,200 seat Ampitheatre, with additional space in the Rose Chapel, a full gymnasium and the Heritage House. That facility serves the congregation with a full institutional kitchen, dining rooms for 300 guests and several large class rooms. The spacious parking lot is located directly off of Colorado Street. In recent years, United Community Church has been sharing these facilities with other Christ centered ethnic congregations needing space for services and events.
